Richard A. Pomerantz, MD

Richard A. Pomerantz, MD, FACS, is board-certified in both general surgery and surgical critical care. Dr. Pomerantz has over 30 years of experience practicing, and his clinical interests include gallbladder diseases, hernias, trauma and critical care. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. He served as the Director of Trauma at SJMH for 16 years. He now serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Toledo. He has been a faculty member of the St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor general surgery residency program since 1993.
